At Baila'mor, we are more than just a dance retreat – we are a community united by our shared love for dance, connection, and making a positive impact. Our name, Baila'mor, embodies the essence of what we stand for: the fusion of dance ("baila") and love ("amor"). In Latin America, "amor" or "'mor" is an affectionate term used to address a loved one, reflecting the warmth and closeness we aim to cultivate within our retreats.

We are 2 passionate retreat organizers with over 10 years of experience in the creation of experiences and events, tourism and dance.

Our passion for dance goes beyond the steps; it's about the joy of movement, the connection with others, and the expression of our innermost selves. Each retreat is carefully curated to provide an immersive experience where participants can explore different dance styles, connect with like-minded individuals, and deepen their love for the art form.


But Baila'mor is more than just a dance retreat – it's a platform for positive change. We provide career growth opportunities with fair salaries for our entire team from teachers to organizers and marketers. Our Story

Hi! I’m Lisa, I’m 28 and I’m from Belgium.


However, I have been living in Latin America for 2 years now and I’m the founder of Baila’mor. Dancing, exploring, and savoring life's flavors are just who I am. As a UX research and innovation consultant, I've crafted some pretty epic experiences. But let me tell you, it was my love for dance, Latin culture and the people that got me going on Baila'mor.

Living it up in the heart of Latin America, I've soaked in all the salsa, bachata, champeta and many more energizing music. Apart from the dancefloor, you can also find me diving into crystal-clear waters or paragliding up with the birds, I'm all about adventure, exploration and having a good time.

And when it comes to food, oh man, don't even get me started. I'm a total foodie and a cooking fanatic, always chasing the best flavors and freshest local products.

So, with Baila'mor, I'm inviting you to join me and my friends on this wild ride where dance, culture, and adventure come together in the most awesome way. Hey there! I’m Jafeth, and I’m from Cali, Colombia—the heart and soul of salsa! I’ve been living and breathing Latin music for as long as I can remember.


From family gatherings to going to the supermarket, where I’m from you can hear the timbales of salsa everywhere. It therefore wasn’t too big of a surprise that I became a professional dancer as soon as I turned 16 years old.

As an entrepreneur, hotel manager, and dancer, I’ve spent over 10 years working in hospitality across Latin America, making sure every guest I meet leaves with an unforgettable experience. From teaching salsa to tourists to being the host at at hotel in the middle of the Caribbean ocean, I’ve built a reputation for sharing the best of Latin America with people all over the world. I also am fluent in 4 different languages, so I can tell you all about my culture in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Hebrew.

My love for music and dance isn’t just a passion—it’s a way of life. When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me producing my own music or organizing social dance events in the middle of the jungle. And trust me, there’s nothing like the energy of Cali’s salsa combined with the unique vibe of Tulum. I’m all about creating those magical moments where the rhythm of Latin America meets the stunning beauty of our destinations.

So, with Baila’mor, I’m thrilled to be co-hosting alongside Lisa, and we’re ready to take you on an adventure filled with dance, culture, and unforgettable memories.
